Shawn & Dan's Lakeside Wedding

If I had to describe this wedding in three words I would use; laughter, beautiful and personal. These four were literally laughing or smiling ear to ear the whole time! And those are my favorite types of weddings! The ceremony took place on Brainard Lake, outside of Boulder, and WOW was it beautiful. The lake, trees and mountains in the background made for a dramatic and very Colorado setting to exchange vows. We even had a Moose sighting! And finally, “personal”, weddings don’t get much more personal than this. The two guests at Shawn and Dan’s wedding were Cassie, Shawn’s daughter (who is one of my close friends from high school) and her husband, Tyler, who is a Pastor and performed the ceremony! How cute is that!?

We also finished the shoot with some casual portraits of both the couples; Shawn and Dan and Cassie and Tyler!
